I had a mixed experience at the campground. On the plus side, it was very clean, and the spaces were large and accommodating, which I appreciated. The location by the lake was nice, but I faced a significant issue with mosquitoes that made my stay less enjoyable. Also, the cost of $50 a night felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially considering the lack of adequate amenities and service issues I encountered.

The spaces were spacious and generally clean, but I had no complaints about specific room features since I stayed in an RV.
Service

There were some issues with the service, particularly during check-in where my reservation had a mistake. I was promised a call back that never came, which was quite frustrating.

The campground is situated in a lovely area by a lake, which has its perks, but beware of the nearby mosquitoes if you're close to the water.

While the campground facilities were decent, there were no 50 amp hookups and the swimming area was small and crowded, leaving much to be desired.

I stayed at this resort and had a decent experience overall. The location is peaceful, surrounded by agricultural land, which was nice for my overnight trip. However, the lack of amenities, like a pool and Wi-Fi, really detracted from the experience. While it met my basic needs, I wouldn't consider it ideal for a vacation getaway.

Lake Minden is a beautiful and clean spot for outdoor enthusiasts, especially with great fishing opportunities nearby. The new fire pits add a nice touch for evening gatherings. However, my experience was somewhat spoiled by unexpected boat races that took over the campsite and limited fishing access during our stay. I would definitely return, but I'd make sure to check for events first.

I had a lovely time at Lake Minden RV Resort. The park is spacious with beautiful, scenic views of the lake, which was quite relaxing. The sites are a mix; while some are a bit cramped, I found the 30 amp sites to be very roomy and level. Although some facilities are showing their age, they were very clean, making my stay enjoyable. Just keep in mind that the amenities are limited, but it's still a great value for the peace and quiet it offers.

Although the facilities are aging, they were clean and well-stocked, with a library featuring about 700 books. However, the lack of full hookups would be a drawback for some.

This park offers a better experience than I initially expected. It has beautiful fields, a serene lake, and lovely walking paths that are perfect for enjoying nature with my dog. The site sizes are spacious, which is a plus! However, it can be quite buggy with mosquitoes, especially during peak seasons.
